Originally from the East Coast state of New Hampshire, Mark Letalien is a seasoned veteran to club touring, professional studio work, and teaching. He has spent the last twenty years refining his craft and developing a curriculum that will benefit both beginner and advanced students. He holds a degree in education, which has helped him tremendously in connecting with younger and adult students alike.

A sample of the artists Mark has worked with includes, but is not limited to, Tulane Blacktop, The Soul Solution, The Dygmies, The Go Daddy’s, Broken Poets, Restless Nature, One World and Stir. He has also studied with some of drumming's finest, including Joe Porcaro, Ralph Humphrey, Jim Chapin, Joe Morello, and Doane Perry. Mark’s current list of preferred gear includes DW drums, Vic Firth sticks, Zildjian and Sabian cymbals.

Currently residing in the Atlanta area, Mark is teaching private lessons, playing with different artists, performing drum educational clinics at local schools, and working on his first drum instruction book.
